MyKeepAlive
Stop your Windows PC sleeping while a long job finishes — no fiddling with power settings.
Windows
Overview
A tiny Windows utility that keeps your machine awake while a long-running task completes — a big upload, a render, a backup, an overnight sync. Flip it on and Windows won’t drop to sleep on its idle timer; flip it off and everything returns to your normal power settings. No registry edits, no changing your system sleep policy.

Features
Keep the machine awake
- One switch stops Windows sleeping while a long job runs
- Uses the OS wake-lock — it doesn’t change your system power settings
- Turn it off and normal sleep behaviour returns immediately
- Clear status: shows whether sleep (and the screen) are currently suppressed
Screen, your choice
- Optionally keep the display on too, not just the machine
- Off: the PC stays awake but the screen is free to sleep and save power
- On: both sleep and screen blanking are suppressed
Light and honest
- A single-purpose window — nothing to configure, nothing to learn
- Tells you plainly if Windows refuses the wake-lock, rather than failing silently
Benefits
- Long uploads, renders and backups finish instead of pausing when the PC sleeps
- No need to change your Windows power plan and remember to change it back
- Save power by keeping the machine awake without keeping the screen on
- Instant on/off — it only does one thing, and does it well
